Day 2 Follow the Leader (Genre: Realistic Fiction) 

Patrick was like Zeus to the other boys. The boys followed Patrick as though they were lost puppies that  wanted a leader. The mustard in the bathroom prank was Patrick’s idea and landed him and the other boys in  detention for nearly two weeks. Daniel knew that those that did not follow Patrick’s orders were ignored. This meant  that Daniel spent many days alone during recess, but it also meant that he stayed out of trouble. Daniel just could not  bring himself to follow the crowd. He just wasn’t that type of person.
