What should you do the day before you interview

a prospective employee, program position, any important position of trust.

• Make sure you are dressed well for the situation. remember

• Go over information you have on the persons you are interviewing if you have it.

• Practice your Greeting and questions in the mirror, remember tone, eye contact, expressions can help obtain information you need to make a good decision.

• Do nothing because surprises and delays are part of life. Being unprepared teaches people to lose opportunities.

1. 1. Introduce yourself, then ask the students the following questions:

2. 3. Show me your 6-year plan (be ready for any or nothing available)

3. 4. Discuss with me in detail how you plan to reach your academic goals in high school.

4. 5. Discuss the classes that you find the most rewarding and why.  Discuss what you find to be the most difficult class and why.

5. 6. What career do you plan on pursuing after high school?

6. 7. What do you expect to be doing in 5 to 7  years?

For Mr. Villa's Grade the interviewer must wear a suit and tie to make a difference?

• no expensive clothing is not going to replace good communication.

• yes but handshakes are the big difference so squeeze hard

• yes but crazy bug eyed eye contact sends a positive message

• no, but trading information without using slang and gaining confidence from your interviewee is really important.
