You are playing with your friend’s favorite toy and you accidentally break it. His two-year-old little brother was in the room and you know you could blame him. What would Jesus do?

• Don’t blame the little brother, but put the toy away. Maybe you friend won’t notice it’s broken.

• Blame the little brother. He’s two, and he won’t even remember any of this.

• Take the toy home and try to glue it back together

• Tell your friend you broke it and that you’re sorry.

You’re in the school bathroom when a bunch of other kids make fun of you, saying your sweater is ugly. What would Jesus do?

• tell them that if they don’t stop you’re going to tell the teacher.

• Point out that their sweaters aren’t the cutest either, and that they should really practice some humility.

• Calmly explain that you like this sweater and that you don’t spend time with people who intentionally try to hurt your feelings

• Roll your eyes and say “well, you obviously aren’t Jesus’ followers.”

Your friend is tormenting the dog by pulling his tail and poking him. The dog is trying very hard not to growl or bite, but you can see that he’s afraid. What would Jesus do?

• Laugh. God put us in charge of the animals so we can enjoy them in any way we want.

• You ask your friend kindly to stop, and explain that you think the dog looks scared. Tell your friend that you don’t like to see animals suffer

• Lecture your friend about animal cruelty and tell him he isn’t allowed near your pets anymore.

• Pull your friend’s hair and say, “how do you like it?” Doesn’t the Bible teach “an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth?”

While outside at recess, you see a girl with a learning disability playing alone. She used to ask the other kids to play every day, but has since given up because no one would ever play with her. What would Jesus do?

• Take your sidewalk chalk over and ask her if she wants to draw with you. Maybe she’ll be fun to play with.

• Stay away. People with learning disabilities come with challenges you probably can’t handle.

• Tell the teacher she looks lonely

• See if maybe there is a support group at school for kids with learning disabilities.

You notice a girl at school eats a huge school lunch every day and tries to take some leftovers out of the lunchroom. When the teacher’s aide doesn’t let her, it occurs to you that she might not have much food to eat at home. What would Jesus do?

• Go up to her in front of everyone and ask her if she has food at home

• Offer her your potato chips.

• Wait until later and then ask if she’d like to have dinner at your house some night.

• Tell the teacher’s aide that she’s being a thief

You were roughhousing in the living room with your brother, and you break your mom’s favorite lamp. Your dog has a long, fluffy tail that is always banging into things. What would Jesus do?

• Blame the dog (obviously)

• Balance the lampshade and the lamp so it looks like it isn’t broken.

• Tell your brother he pushed you into the lamp so it’s his fault.

• Ask your brother if the two of you can tell your mom the truth together.

You brought home a box of fundraiser candy from school and, in a moment of weakness, eat two packs of king- sized peanut butter cups. What would Jesus do next? Select all that apply.
