Practica - Informal commands

An affirmative command...

• is telling someone to do something.

• is stating a fact about something positive.

• is telling someone to not do something.

• is asking a question starting with no.

To form a regular affirmative tú command:

• drop the ending and add the opposite nosotros ending.

• change it to the yo form and add no.

• Leave it in the infinitive.

• change the verb to él / ella / ud. form in present tense.

CONSEJO [advice]: "El león escapó del zoo."

• Corras.

• Correr.

• Corre.

• Baila.

CONSEJO [advice] " ¡Hay un criminal en mi casa!"

• Llama la policía.

• Llames la policía.

• Haz un pizza.

• Haga un pizza

CONSEJO [Advice]: "Tengo sed.

• Beber agua.

• Sal de la casa.

• Bebe agua.

• Ponte un suéter.

CONSEJO [advice]: "Quiero comida italiana."

• Haces un pizza.

• Haz un pizza.

• Hace un pizza.

• Hacer un pizza.

CONSEJO [advice]: "Tengo frío."

• Pon[te] las sandalias.

• Poner un suéter.

• Pon[te] un suéter.

• Pone las sandalias.
