Meditation verse for the book of Nehemiah chapters 13:

Meditation verse for the Book of Nehemiah chapter 13:

In chapter 13, we read about Nehemiah returning to Jerusalem and trying to fix and sanctify the people ways who went astray and turned away from God’s ways. People started to forget to pay their tithes, priests left their service and worked in their lands, people broke the sabbath and resumed the mixed marriages with pagan wives.

In verse 14: we see how  Nehemiah was faithful and stood up against the corruption in Jerusalem.

We should obey God and be faithful even if we are the only one obeying Him, and if all the people around us resist us, but the power of God inside us will change their hearts.
