Another reason dogs are better pets is because they like to go on walks, unlike cats who do not like being put on leashes. Also, dogs are more protective than cats. For instance, they usually bark when they hear strange noises outside their homes. Finally, dogs are more friendly than cats. In contrast to cats who run and hide when visitors come over, dogs usually greet friendly visitors with a wagging tail.This passage argues dogs make better pets than cats.
