Chapter 24

ኢወደየኩ ወርቅየ ውስተ ውእቱ መካን ።

• I did not put my money in that place.
• We found this (or place) exceedingly wicked place, and we did not stay within it.
• We arrived there when our father became judge of the region.
• He did not speak to us from the time when we rebuked him about that which he did.

ረከብነ ዘንተ መካነ እኩየ ፈድፋደ ወኢነበርነ ውስቴቱ ።

በጻሕነ ዝየ አመ ኮነ አቡነ መኰንነ ብሔር ።

ኢተናገረነ እምአመ ገሠጽናሁ በእንተ ዘገብረ ።

አመ መጻእክሙ ኀበ መካን ኀበ ሀሎ ኢርኢክምዎኑ ።

• When you came to the where he was, did you not see him?
• We were with him until the time when he died, and then we returned (to) where we built our house.
• He arose from where he sat and he chased after us.
• I did not return to the city which I had emerged.

ሀሎነ ምስሌሁ እስከ አመ ሞተ ወእምዝ ገባእነ ኀበ ሐነጽነ ቤተነ ።
