• On the well selected audience

• On the well prepared lecturer/ speaker

• On the well prepared lecturer, carefully selected topic and engaged audience

What is impromptu speech?

• A long speech, with a lot of information and should be prepared in advance

• A short "moment" speech, unprepared, like a toast or opinion about something

• A speech designed to impress the audience, takes ussually 90 minutes talking without presentation

The good speech depends also on...

• The weather, status of my love life and of my granny's blood pressure

• The place / the hall, classroom, space where the speech will be given and social and cultural context

Extemporaneous speech is...

• The speech that has to be quick, funny, and possibly politically shaped

• The speech that has to be presented by heart, with precise data

• The speech that should be well prepared in advance, possible with Ppt presentation and that should show expertise in the topic

Memorized speech is

• The speech that should take at least 20 minutes of memorized text

• A short speech, learned by heart, used rarely, at the very special occasions only

• A speech that should be written and red in front of a bigger audience

A good public speaker will pay attention to

• The verbal and non verbal aspects of the speech, but also to the type of the audience, the presentation tools and the context of the speech.

• the verbal aspects of the speech because that is the only thing that matters.

• the time of the speech trying just to be short and simple.

• the VIPs in the audience in order to provide for himself a good position after the public speech.

Non verbal communication is when...

• We use our body (gestures) or even our clothes to show our oppinion.

• When we stop talking.

• When we watch a football game.
