3. How did Anabeth and Percy escaped from the trap that “Hephaestus” set for when they went to pick up the shield?

• They escaped with Grovers help, who flew above them, and rescued both by talking one by one flying with his flying shoes.

• They escaped from the robo-spiders when Percy thought about waves and rushing water, so Water exploded out of the pipes, sweeping away the spiders.

• Grover turned on the controls of the love tunnel in order to move them out from the robo-spiders.

• They escaped from the robo-spiders by using the shield in order to protect themselves, and this is the way they could go out from the tunnel of love.

• Because she had a very bad nightmare in which a lot of spiders were chasing her, and finally they killed her.
