Antony, Octavius, and Lepidus are still together in Rome because..

• They are planning to overthrow Brutus and Cassius, the present rulers of Rome

• They are now the triumvirate rulers of Rome

• The plebeians have asked them to stay

• They are searching for Caesar’s hidden fortune

At their meeting, Antony sends Lepidus to Caesar’s house to..

• get a list of political enemies

• kill Publius

• get the will so the triumvirate can make some changes

• get Calpurnia’s consent on the elimination of some political enemies

Antony regards Lepidus as a person who

• is inclined to be unjust to the people

• is a brilliant military leader

 After Caesar’s death, Cassius and Brutus

• flee from Rome and raise an army to overthrow the triumvirate
