After you get all your strips sewn or glued, secure the tops together with a basting stitch and start your weave in a big square.

Cut your denim strips into 1 ½ to 2 inches wide (going straight down the leg of your jeans).

Continue weaving until your weave pattern is bigger than the size of the bag (you will need two of these, one for the front and one for the back).

Cut both front and back woven sections according to the pattern of your bag, then sew together, and add your zipper and strap.

Fold the strips over and glue or sew down (you can sew a double top stitch or use fabric glue)
