If you need extra help, when and where can you find Mrs. Kemp?

• At her favorite store, Target after school.

• At 5:30 am everyday at school because teachers don't have lives.

• Wednesdays and Fridays in Room 14 the 2nd half of Empower Hour.

• Anytime I have free time to go see Mrs. Kemp.

A student is playing on their iPad or has their phone out during class time - according to the syllabus, what would happen?

• First offense, daily points will be deducted.

• Second offense, daily points deducted and a call/email home.

• Third offense, a detention will be given.

• Copying homework from a friend - a zero for me AND my friend, and an email/call home.

A student was sick and missed a checkpoint or test. What happens next? What happens next?

• The student is exempt from the test - who needs it anyways?!

• The missed checkpoint/test must be taken within 3 school days of the test date during Empower Hour. Mrs. Kemp will email the student and home on the available test dates and times.

• Student will have to take the make up alternative version of the quiz or test.

• Mrs. Kemp will just give the student a "A" just because.

When can a student ask to leave class to use the restroom/water fountain if not an emergency?

• Anytime!

• Before class starts during Bellwork time. Leave phone behind as a reverse bathroom pass.

• After the lesson for the day is complete and it is independent work time. Leave phone behind as a reverse bathroom pass.

• Never!

What is the first step when retaking a checkpoint?

• Respond to Mrs. Kemp's reteach email with a time/date.

• Meet with Mrs. Kemp during EH for a reteach.

• Do the reteach activity.

• Turn in the reteach activity as the retake ticket.

• Take the retake during independent time in class.

When is Bellwork due in order to receive full credit?

• 10 minutes after class has started - turned in on Blackbaud or Teacher.

• Bellwork is not due.

• By the end of class.

• The next day.

When can check points be assigned in class by the teacher? Do they have to be preannounced? Check all that apply.

• At the beginning of class in the place of Bellwork. Does not have to be preannounced.

• At the end of a lesson or independent time. Does not have to be preannounced.
