Surat Al Muddathirr

Surat Al-Muddathirr is a Madani surah

يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ (1) قُمْ فَأَنذِرْ (2) وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرْ (3) وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرْ

These ayahs address

• Any human being

• Prophet Moussa (pbuh)

فَإِذَا نُقِرَ فِي النَّاقُورِ (8) فَذَلِكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوْمٌ عَسِيرٌ (9)

• It's time for the day of judgement

The meaning of

يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ (1)

• Oh you who is sleeping

• Oh you who is sitting

• Oh you who is covered

We understand from these ayahs

فَإِذَا نُقِرَ فِي النَّاقُورِ (8) فَذَلِكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوْمٌ عَسِيرٌ (9) عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ غَيْرُ يَسِيرٍ (10)

ذَرْنِي وَمَنْ خَلَقْتُ وَحِيداً (11) وَجَعَلْتُ لَهُ مَالاً مَّمْدُوداً (12) وَبَنِينَ شُهُوداً (13) وَمَهَّدتُّ لَهُ تَمْهِيداً

The person mentioned in these ayahs is
