D. Wish and If only.

I wish I (know) all these tips in the past.

I wish I 2. _______ (better, manage) my time in my last S3 test because I didn’t have enough time to finish every part of the test.

 If only I 3. ____ (seek) professional help from teachers and counselors sooner, I might be better in taking test. If you’re struggling with test anxiety as well, here are some tips for you:

       a) If only you 4. _____ (stay) calm, you would be able to read the questions more carefully.

        b) I wish I 5. _____ (have) a negative mindset and beat myself up in my previous tests, I could be more sensible and had more confident when taking the tests.

  c) I wish you 6. _______ (test) yourself more before any test, it is a great retrieval practice and help you commit information to your long-term memory.

d) My friend introduced some useful apps for me to counter distraction and boost my concentration e.g. OFFTIME, Forest, Freedom etc. If only they 7. _________ (introduce) these apps in the last minute, I could have had better concentration skills.

e. Don’t cram and study in the last minute. I wish all students 8. _______ (follow) this tip and had better time management skills. 

f. At the end of the day, I realized exams and tests are just an opportunity for us to improve and grow. If only I 10. _______ (know) this earlier, I wouldn’t have been so nervous.

I wish I 11. _____ (have) a time machine and travel back to time to change my past, but at least I have the chance to share my experience with you.
