New Feature: Rent Checks Cancellation

What is the new feature related to rent checks about?

• Members will have access to a reissue button on the app
• Members will have the ability to cancel their rent checks themselves on the app
• Checks will automatically be refunded if they don't arrive on time at their destination

When do members have the ability to cancel their rent check?

• Anytime after the check is created
• The check needs to be cashed before they can cancel it
• Anytime after the check is created, as long as it hasn't been cashed

The FedEx expedite mail fee can be refunded if:

• The check was mailed and now the member needs to mail it to a different address
• The check has not been mailed
• The member sent 2 checks and now needs to cancel one of those

What can the member do if they want to REISSUE a check instead of getting a REFUND for it?

• They can tap on the "Reissue check" option instead of the "Cancel check" one
• They need to cancel the check in question and send a new check
• The member needs to contact us and we will add it to the reissue tacker so the NY team can reissue it

After this training, a member is telling you that their rent check has not been delivered and they want to void it, what do you do?

• Proceed as usual and offer to escalate their case so their check can be cancelled and refunded
• Ask the member if they want a REFUND or a REISSUE
• Send the macro explaining how to cancel the rent check in the app
