અપૂર્ણાંક વડે અપૂર્ણાંકનો ગુણાકાર

$$\frac{9}{4}$$ સેમીની રીબીનને અડધેથી વાળીએ એટલે $$\frac{9}{4}$$ ના $$\frac{1}{2}$$ ભાગની થાય.

એટલે $$\frac{9}{4}$$ ને $$\frac{1}{2}$$ વડે ગુણવા પડે. $$\frac{9}{4}$$ $$\times$$ $$\frac{1}{2}$$

= $$\frac{9\times1}{4\times2}$$

= $$\frac{9}{8}$$

કોઈ એક વસ્તુના ત્રણ સમાન ભાગ કરતાં દરેક ભાગ $$\frac{1}{3}$$ થાય.

તે દરેક $$\frac{1}{3}$$ ભાગના ચાર સમાન ભાગ કરીએ એટલે $$\frac{1}{3}$$ ના $$\frac{1}{4}$$ ભાગ થાય.

= $$\frac{1}{3}$$ $$\times$$ $$\frac{1}{4}$$

= $$\frac{1\times1}{3\times4}$$

= $$\frac{1}{12}$$

$$\frac{4}{9}$$ $$\times$$ $$\frac{2}{5}$$

$$=$$ $$\frac{4\times2}{9\times5}$$

$$=$$ $$\frac{8}{45}$$

મયંક એક કલાકમાં એક પુસ્તકનો $$\frac{1}{5}$$ ભાગ વાંચે છે.

$$\therefore$$ $$2\frac{2}{5}$$ કલાકમાં તે પુસ્તકનો $$\frac{1}{5}$$ $$\times$$ $$2\frac{2}{5}$$ ભાગ વાંચશે.

હવે, $$2\frac{2}{5}$$ = $$\frac{\left(5\times2\right)+2}{5}$$ = $$\frac{12}{5}$$

$$\therefore$$ $$\frac{1}{5}$$ $$\times$$ $$2\frac{2}{5}$$

= $$\frac{1}{5}$$ $$\times$$ $$\frac{12}{5}$$

= $$\frac{1\times12}{5\times5}$$

= $$\frac{12}{25}$$

$$\frac{6}{7}$$ નો $$\frac{1}{2}$$ ભાગ

= $$\frac{6}{7}$$ $$\times$$ $$\frac{1}{2}$$

= $$\frac{6\times1}{7\times2}$$

= $$\frac{3\times1}{7}$$

= $$\frac{3}{7}$$
