• Whispering to your friend when Ms. Jackson is giving instructions for an assignment to the class

• Getting up and sharpening your pencil while Ms. Jackson is going on notes

• Speeding through your work so you can play videos games on your iPad

• Asking help from someone at your table or Ms. Jackson when you are confused on the assignment instead of just sitting there doing nothing

• Leaving your book open, papers, and/or pencil on your desk and leaving class when the bell rings

• Tossing a pencil to your friend across the class

• Working on your own or with your group to complete a grammar free assignment that has though and time put into it

• When I notice it is the last 5 minutes of class
