וְצֵא֙ הַשָּׂדֶ֔ה וְצ֥וּדָה לִּ֖י צָֽיִד ׃

• Make delicious food for me

וְרִבְקָ֣ה שֹׁמַ֔עַת בְּדַבֵּ֣ר יִצְחָ֔ק אֶל־עֵשָׂ֖ו בְּנ֑וֹ

• Rivka dressed Ya'akov her son in Esav's clothes

• Yitzchak heard Rivka speaking to her son Yaakov

• Rivka overheard when Yitzchak as speaking to his son Esav

עֵשָׂ֤ו אָחִי֙ אִ֣ישׁ שָׂעִ֔ר וְאָנֹכִ֖י אִ֥ישׁ חָלָֽק׃

• Esav my brother is a hairy man and I am smooth

• Esav was born hairy and Yaakov was holding on to his heel

• Esav is my brother and I bought the birthright

עָלַ֥י קִלְלָתְךָ֖ בְּנִ֑י

• You are my cursed son

• Your curse will be upon me, son

• Esav is the cursed son

Why is it strange that Rivka said, "Your curse will be upon me, son"?

• Because why would she risk her life?

• Because Yaakov had good intentions

• Because everyone is responsible for his own actions

וַתִּקַּ֣ח רִ֠בְקָ֠ה אֶת־בִּגְדֵ֨י עֵשָׂ֜ו בְּנָ֤הּ הַגָּדֹל֙ הַחֲמֻדֹ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֥ר אִתָּ֖הּ בַּבָּ֑יִת וַתַּלְבֵּ֥שׁ אֶֽת־יַעֲקֹ֖ב בְּנָ֥הּ הַקָּטָֽן׃

• This pasuk describes Rivka cooking food for Yitzchak

• This pasuk describes Rivka dressing Yaakov up in Esav's clothes
