What is an acceptable way to enter the classroom each day?

• Scream, yell, run, swear

• Interrupting what is already going on

• Calmly including removing hood and eearbuds, find seat and look at board for further directions

• Wait to find your seat after the bell has rung

At the end of class you should...

• Yell, scream, run, swear

• Leave a mess or your belongings on the desk

• Push others so you can get out more quickly

• Make sure your area is clean, push in your chair, and exit the room quietly

At the beginning of class you should...

• Find your seat, check the board for materials needed, complete any tasks that are listed

• Walk around and talk to your friends after the bell has rung

• Sit and do nothing even with tasks on the board

• Scoot around in your chair asking other what to do

If I need to leave the room I should...

• Ask for permission

• Bring my ID to the teacher to scan out

• Take the lanyard on my way out

• All of these are correct

If I need to go to the bathroom I should...

• Ask at an appropriate time (not while the teacher is actually giving directions or teaching)

• Use the bathroom across the hall (not in the 300 hallway or by the office)

• Show the teacher my ID so she can scan me out

• All of these are correct

When there is time to work I should...

• Remain seated and work on the assignment according to the grouping rules

• Wander around the room talking to other people and being disruptive

• Work on my math that is due later

• Give up when the work is hard

If I am absent I should...

• Ignore the assignment given as if it didn't happen

• Ask Mrs. Regan "Did we do anything yesterday?"

• Look on the student calendar and on Google Classroom

• None of these are correct

Helping others with their work looks like...

• Clarifying directions or showing them where we are in the assignment or book, etc

• Giving answers

• Making fun of them for not understanding what is going on

• Refusing to help

If I need help I should...

• Check the CHAMPS slide to see what is expected

• Ask your group members for clarification

• Quietly ask students near you

If I am missing something we need in class I should...

• Ask at an appropriate time and return it at the end of the period

• Interrupt Mrs. Regan while she is giving directions or teaching

• Take it with me because I might need it later
