Civic virtue is....

What is community?

• A group of people.

• Your town

• Your neighborhood

• A group of people living or working together in an area.

What does being honest mean?

• You tell the truth when it is easy

• You understand that people are not just different from you on the outside, but they have different values

• Telling the truth even when it hurts

• telling lies

Prudence means

• using reason and logic to decide what action to take

• acting on impulse without thought

• a religious understanding of the world

• a method of stealing that is safe

Courage is

• The act of forcing your way on everyone else

• The ability and willingness to do what is right even when you are afraid or in danger

• The ability to be strong and powerful.

• The act of speaking your mind whenever you want to

Humility is

• thinking that you are the only person that matters

• being ashamed of yourself

• being modest about your accomplishments or your importance

• being shy

Having integrity means you

• do what you want when you want to do it

• are honest, do the right thing and keep your promises

• are looking for rewards and recognition for helping others

• you cheat your friends and your family

If you act with justice you try to

• let your friends do things that others aren't allowed to do

• pay people for extra privileges

• speak your opinion fairly

• be fair and apply rules equally to everyone

A moderate person

• avoids excesses or extremes

• goes overboard on everything

• refuses to do or buy anything

• refuses to speak

Perseverance means to

• keep doing something even when it is hard and things block your progress

• taking the easiest way

• stopping and starting as you do something

• being a leader
