The primary purpose is to open the celebration and foster unity among the people who are gathered in the festival.

The part where the biblical reading or Word of God being proclaimed to the members of the Church.

This part is the commemoration of the Last Supper where Christ instituted the Pascal sacrifice.

The part where the final blessing is given to the people.

At this point, the community members are ready to share the love of Christ in the world by doing acts of loving kindness to everyone they meet.
