Noe PBIS and Expectations Review

We want all students at Noe Middle to demonstrate the following expectations:

• Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe

• Honesty, Excellence, Accountability, Respectful and Teamwork

• Respectful, Ownership, Attitude and Responsibility

• Polite, Responsible, In Control, Do Your Best and Earn Respect

Upon arrival, students should eat breakfast in __________.

• the dining area in front of the cafeteria

• the team holding area

• first period classroom

• their kitchen at home

Failure to meet classroom expectations, may result in an infraction and consequences including all of the following except:

• Lunch Detention

• Parent Conference

• Loss of Team Incentives

• Expulsion from JCPS

• Referral to your grade level adminstrator

When released to their team area, students should:

• Power down and put away cell phones

• Remove any earbuds or headphones

• Remove hoods and hats

Backpacks should be kept inside your ________ during the school day.

All _______________ and first period teachers should do dress code checks each morning.

Being respectful, responsible and safe in the cafeteria includes:

• Standing in a group and hanging out with friends from another team

• Keeping cell phones put away

• Wiping down your table and sweeping the floor

• Throwing away any trash in your area

• Remaining in your team area and in your seat

When leaving class, students should:

• Have their signed agenda

• Stop and visit their friends that are on team restroom breaks

• Make multiple stops along to visit their old teachers and say hi to the office staff

• Go to the designated location and return in a timely manner.

An example of an appropriate item of clothing per the student dress code is:

• A shirt that exposes the midriff but you pull it down whenever an adult is nearby

• Crocs without the strap and/or house shoes

• A sleeveless tank

• Crocs with the strap down in Sport mode

When following expectations, students can receive:

• Paws for Praise

• PBIS Reward Points

• Team specific incentives such as Stamps

• A behavior referral to the AP.
