INDONESIA’S NEW ZEALAND Parapat is well known as Indonesia’s New Zealand. It is located in Simalungun regency, North Sumatra. What made Parapat famous is the beauty of Lake Toba. It is the largest and deepest lake in Southeast Asia. We can enjoy swimming, water skiing,playing water bike, relaxing on boat or just breathing of the fresh air there. In the middle of the lake, there is an island called “Samosir Island” . The island also offers many wonderfulness that captured tourist’s eyes. We can find many natural tourism object presented around the island such as Lake Sidihoni, Aek Natonang, Pantai Pasir Putih. There is also many resorts which is clean dan cheap. Besides Lake Toba, Parapat is also surrounded by Bukit Barisan mountains. They were filled with pine trees that lined up neatly. It is so amazing view. Thas’s what makes Parapat similar to New Zealand
