TWI: Week of 9/6

I understand that in the Kalamazoo Virtual Program, there are three components of attendance that I must meet in order to be counted 'present' for the week.  I must attend my live sessions and participate/have my camera on, make consistent progress on the work assigned in each of my courses (within one week of on pace), and complete a weekly TWI Check In with my Mentor.  

If I fail to meet the three attendance requirements, I may be marked as virtually absent for the 5 day period.  When I reach 10 absences, I will be truant in my course and the program and may forfeit credit for the course as well as removed from the program.  When removed from the program, a student is unenrolled from Kalamazoo Public Schools which can interfere with meeting the requirements of the Promise.

Why should you use a subject in an email?

• To say hello to the person who is getting the email and ask how they are doing

• To briefly give an idea of what the email is about

• To type the email body (ask all the questions and say everything you want to say)
