To properly place the decimal for your answer when multiplying decimal numbers you must:

• line up the decimal numbers first to place the decimal point

• move the decimal in the divisor all the way to the right and do the same amount of moves for the dividend

• count the digits behind the decimal points

• multiply then line up the digits
