What step do you NOT need to take if you are late to school?

• Turn in cell phone at security desk (w/label that had first name_last name and grade)

• Sign in at late table and get a pass to class

• Serve a detention for being late to school

• Go through scanning

When do you NOT need a pass?

• When you are going to the bathroom

• When you are going to get water at the fountain just outside the door

• When you think you are going to be late to class

• This is a trick question. You ALWAYS need a pass.

Which student was NOT late to class?

• Robert hears the bell ring while he is still two doors away from the classroom.

• Mitchell is walking through the door of the classroom when the bell rings

• Jimmie is in his seat at the bell working on his do-now.

What should you do with your cell phone when you come in through scanning?

• Spend 10 minutes filming tik toks before going through scanning.

• Turn off your phone, place in your cell phone envelope, and hand the envelope to an adult.

• Throw your cell phone on the table and expect someone to put it away for you.

• Walk through scanning with it and say you forgot you had it when the detectors go off 🙂
