What does Blessed are those who are poor in spirit; for theirs is the kingdom of God mean?

• It means God only blesses those who are financially poor.

• It means only poor people will go to heaven
• It means those who are humble and acknowledge their need for God will be rewarded with heaven

• It means being poor in spirit is a sin

Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
    for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

• Be strong in your love for God. Sometimes, people who don’t understand your faith will question you, and mean people might even make jokes. But just remember, you’re making Jesus proud. The mean words that people say are just words; they can’t hurt you.

• When your good it means that you are good.

• God doesn’t want us to be quiet all the time. He’s not talking about that kind of peace.

• God hopes the Patriots will win the Super Bowl, but unfortunately, they are not very good.

Blessed are the clean of heart,
    for they will see God, what does that mean?

• It means that those who are pure in their intentions and actions will be able to perceive God
• It means that those who physically clean themselves will see God
• It means that those who clean their houses will see God
• It means that those who are rich will see God

What does "Blessed are they who mourn,
    for they will be comforted means?"

• It means that those who are happy will be rewarded because they are not really sad just pretending to fit in.

• If you’re sad, then be sad. Feelings are a good thing. We’re not always happy. Different things might make us feel sad or guilty, but know that being upset doesn’t last forever

• It means that those who are rich will be comforted
• It means that those who are poor will be comforted even those they are sad.
