Rule 35 (Sound signals in restricted visibility)

In restricted visibility, A Power-Driven Vessel or Vessel rigidly connected in a composite unit making way through the water shall sound

In restricted visibility, A Power-Driven Vessel or Vessel rigidly connected in a composite unit underway but stopped and making no way through the water shall sound

In restricted visibility, the following Vessels shall sound such as:

Vessel Not Under Command

Vessel Restricted in her Ability to Manoeuvre or at anchor

Vessel Constrained by her Draught

Sailing Vessel

Vessel Engaged in Fishing or at anchor

Vessel Engaged in Towing

Vessel Engaged in Pushing

A Vessel being towed or if more than one vessel is towed the last vessel of the tow, if manned shall sound

A Vessel at anchor and Vessel aground of less than 100 m in length shall sound:
