Chapter 12: Why is the Valley of Sound so horrifying?

• Because it plays scary music.

• Because the noises are so loud they scare people.

• Because it hurts your ears.

• Because there is no sound at all. It is completely silent.

Chapter 12: Why is the Valley of Sound silent?

• People rushed down the avenues looking at their shoes missing the beauty around them.

• No one appreciated sound anymore, so the Soundkeeper banished sound.

• The city was destroyed by evil villains.

• As people moved quicker through the town, things became uglier and dirtier and no one cared.

Chapter 12: Why does the Soundkeeper lock up all the sounds up in her vault?

• She thinks that people do not appreciate them.

• She is greedy.

• She hates sound.

• She worries that the sound is too loud for people.

Chapter 12: What do the people of the Valley of Sound ask Milo to do?

• The asked him to leave on his way to Digitopolis.

• They asked him to be their new soundkeeper.

• They asked him to visit the Soundkeeper and bring back one sound, no matter how small.

• They asked him to go back and find the orchestra to help bring back all the beautiful colors.

Chapter 12: How did Milo get a sound out of the fortress of sound?

• He made the word “but” and closed his mouth trapping it before it came out.

• He stole the Soundkeeper's voice and release it into the Valley of Sound.

• He cooked the sound in a pot and served it to everyone in the Kingdom of Wisdom.

• He became a conductor again and helped Chroma with the sunrise.

Chapter 13: How did Milo and the others get the sound out to the valley?

• They started playing drums as loud as they possibly could until the sound returned.

• They all started speaking really loudly.  Then, quickly and suddenly all the sound returned to the valley.

• They got a cannon and Milo loaded it with the word "but" and the word was launched through the valley.

• They asked the orchestra to play all the sounds of the morning, instead of colors.

Chapter 13:  What does DYNNE bring back to the Soundkeeper?

• Sounds that weren't awful enough for him.

• Medicine that he thought others might need.

• A new vault since her old one wasn't strong enough.

• A cannon for more sounds to be launched.

Chapter 13:  The Soundkeeper invites the DYNNE and doctor over to her home. What does she say that makes the DYNNE then run away?

• She says that was a trick and that he must not come to her house.

• She starts to scream when she realized how awful the noises he brought her were.

• She says she does not like Milo and that made DYNNE mad.

• She invites him and the doctor over for an evening of beautiful music.

• They made another conclusion.

• They found a cannon to launch them over the water.

• They found a boat and crossed the sea.

• They had to swim across the Sea of Knowledge.
