Cheetahs are the fastest big cat in the world. They can run up 70 miles per hour- speeds that are equivalent to the speed limit on a highway. One of the main reasons a cheetah can run so fast is because of its build. The cheetah is very slender, light, has long legs, and a long tail. This allows aerodynamics to works in its favor. Speed is also what keeps the cheetah out of danger when being attacked as prey.

• Cheetahs escape their predators by running quickly. Their legs and tails help them run faster. They are the coolest cats on the planet.

• Cheetahs are the fastest animal in the world. They can travel up to highways speeds. Their slender build allows them to run quickly and escape predators that may be after them.

• Cheetahs can travel as fast as cars on the highway. That speed is up to 70 miles per hour!
