What was a Separatist?

•  business opportunity that involves risk but could also make money.

• a group of Pilgrims (later called Puritans) who separated from the main group and formed small congregations of their own for religious purposes

• treating a group of people unfair or cruel because of their religion

What was the Virginia Company?

• an English trading company chartered by King James I who settled the east coast of America

What was a Debtor's prison?

• the action of interfering.  In this case, others were interfering with the Quakers being able to practice their faith

• A prison for people who owed money and could not pay it back

• The right to control one’s own labor, property, and money.
