Ch 5 & 6

Meditation Verse for Chapter 5&6 for the Book of Esther: In Chapter 5: We read about Esther preparing herself to be present before the king, she enters the inner court, and the King gives her permission to speak. - Esther invites the king and Haman for her first banquet. - Haman gets angry every time he enters the king’s gate, because Mordecai refuses to bow down to him. We also read about Haman’s plot against Mordecai. In Chapter 6: we see and learn how God always has a perfect plan to protect His children. - We read about the king’s sleepless night. - He reviewed the book of the chronicle, found how Mordecai saved the king’s life and decided to honor him for this. Complete the verse: In God I have put my……..; I will not be …………….. What can ……… do to me? Psalm 56 :11

So Esther answered, If it pleases the king, let the king and ............ come today to the banquet that I have prepared for him. (Esther 5:4)
