This group of Federalist Papers outline that H.O.R. representatives must be 25 years old, be a citizen for 7 years, live in their district, they have a term of 2 years. They must also know taxation, economy, militia of their state. The amount of representatives per state is determined by population. If a person can vote for their state legislature then they can vote for the H.O.R.

In this Federalist Paper Publius shows that the President will be elected through the Electoral College, which means that each state will recieve a certain amount of votes for president, based on the amount of Representatives + 2 Senators. This system means that the people elect electors for a candidate and those electors then vote for president.

In this group of Federalist Papers Publius lays out the requirements for Senators. They must be 30 years old, be a citizen for 9 years, and live in their state. and they have a term of 6 years. Senators were originally appointed by the state legislations because it was a representation of the states will. The Senate also has the power to ratify treaties with a 2/3 vote.
