also known as an ophthalmometer, is a diagnostic instrument for measuring the curvature of the anterior surface of the cornea, particularly for assessing the extent and axis of astigmatism. It was invented by the Hermann von Helmholtz in 1851. It is used for corneal curvature assessment, for contact lens assessment, determination of astigmatism, and for the assessment of the tear film through Non Invasive Tear Break-Up Time (NIBUT).

An instrument about the size of a small flashlight (torch) with several lenses that can magnify up to about 15 times. Ophthalmoscopy can be done thru direct & indirect method in order to examine the fundus background and its structures such as Optic disc, macula & fundus background. It also aid in the detection of pathology inside the eye.

Is an instrument used to perform retinoscopy, a technique to obtain an objective measurement of the refractive error of a patient's eyes. The retinoscope uses a streak of light shined into the patient's eye and the reflection (reflex) off the patient's retina is observed.

It contains different lenses used for refraction of the eye during sight testing in order to measure an individual's refractive error. It is also used fo the measurement of patients' phorias and duction, which are characteristics of binocularity. Phoropters can also measure heterophorias (natural resting position of the eyes), accommodative amplitudes, accommodative leads/lags, accommodative posture, horizontal and vertical vergence.

also known as Pupilometer. It is use to measure the center distance of the pupil in each eyes digitally. It is useful in creating the correct eyeglass prescription placed on eyeglasses.

Is an instrument consisting of a high-intensity light source that can be focused to shine a thin sheet of light into the eye. The lamp facilitates an examination the anterior segment  and posterior segment of the human eye. Is an instrument use to determine the intraocular pressure (IOP), the fluid pressure inside the eye. It is an important instrument in the diagnostic evaluation of patients at risk from glaucoma.

It can be battery operated or electrically charge unit.
