What is the Columbia County School District Foundation?

• A FOR profit organization

• Just another department at the board office

Why was the Foundation created?

• To create more work for you

• We wanted a publicity stunt

• To be able to access grants, sponsorships, and other funds not previously available

• To be able to spend money on initiatives the district's budget is restricted from

What are programs and initiatives the Foundation will be able to support?

• Classroom Innovation Grants

• Student scholarships

• Student basic health and economic needs

• Alumni recognition

How will the CCSD Foundation benefit you (ALL employees)?

• Creates more opportunities for community engagement

• There is absolutely no benefit

• Will provide funding for special projects in the classroom

• Will provide funding for appreciation opportunities

What makes the CCSD Foundation different from other organizations the district currently supports?

• We have better incentives

• You can choose which focus area your dollars impact

• We have better staff

• All of the funds directly support Columbia County School District students, teachers, and staff

What can you do to BEST support the Foundation?
