He knew that he should not be eating the cake his mother had made, but the temptation was too much. He ate it anyway. He was going to be in so much trouble when his mom found out. What does temptation mean?

She went hunting with her father and noticed a doe was eating by the river. Usually they are with others but this one was alone, which was dangerous. What if it was attacked? What is a doe?
