Lesson 8 - Keeping the House Clean

This is the place for rest and sleep. It is also the place where the children study their lessons, read books, get dressed, and relax. It must be a quiet and private place where a family member can do personal activities and needs.

This is considered a workshop where the children learn many things. It is here where they practice cleanliness and orderliness. They learn how to discipline themselves by establishing good work habits.

This is usually the smallest room in the house. It is a private room. Most homes have a combined toilet and bath. Here, you will find a lavatory, toilet bowl, mirror, medicine cabinet, tissue holder, soap dish, and a rod for hanging towels.

This is the family room. It is the place where activities of the family are held. This should be spacious and well-ventilated. It should have a cheerful and friendly atmosphere and must have the needed furnishings to be able to carry out its functions.

This is the busiest room especially when meals are being prepared. It should be clean, well-ventilated, and orderly. There are kitchen tools, food and appliances found in this room.
