MULTIPLE SELECT QUESTION

1 min • 1 pt

What is the meaning of 'natural selection?

The selection of where organisms should live without fear

Only those with the same certain trait can only stay at a certain place

Competing for a place to stay in the wild because there is more prey on that certain habitat

Other species who will try to live in a certain area with the species already living in it will not last long

Answer explanation

ANIMAL EXAMPLE: If a lion and a crocodile lives in the river the lion surely wont last longer than the crocodile because crocodiles have a CERTAIN TRAIT that allows them to live at water.

PLANT EXAMPLE: A tall sunflower and a small sunflower sharing a space on the ground with a bit of nutrients, the small sunflower since its small it only needs less of the nutrients than the tall sunflower gets. The tall sunflower needs more nutrients to survive but sharing a space with the small sunflower it won't last long because the small sunflower will reproduce until the ground will be taken by only small sunflowers.
