what are interest groups?

• a group of people drawn or acting together in support of a common interest or to voice a common concern

• a group fighting for a cause

• groups that stick together to make the government hear their ideas/concerns

why do interest groups exists?

• interest groups exist to explain to the government the problems the people are fighting for right now

• people that sit at the lobby

why do people do lobbying?

why don't people vote?

How can we get people to vote?

• Give them something in return for voting like something beneficial. more locations

• give them better transportation

• give them a car
