Life Stages

• There are 8 stages of growth and development as outlined by Erik Erikson.

• There are 3 Life stages of growth and development .

Life stages

• Emotionel - dealing with feelings of joy, hate, fear , excitement. Ext.

  Social - our interactions and relationships with others

• Physical - body growth, muscle and nerve development, and changes in body organs

  Mental/Cognitive - intellectual development such as problem solving and making judgement

• Baby can grow up to how thwy will like because of stages

Infancy

• birth to 1 vear of age. Needs are essential care - feeding, bathing, sleep, love and security to build trust. and stimulation to grow mentally.

• 4-6 years of age , Feeding bathing and sleeping

Early Childhood/Toddler

• 2-3 years of age. Needs still include basic foundation needs such as food, sleep, protection, love and security.

• Age 1-7 need still include basic foundation.

Preschool Age

• 3-6 years of age. Needs still include basic care, with more reinforcement of rules and responsibility.
