Surah Almursalat Test

The repetetive lines in Surah Al Mursalat

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ

means.....

• Did We not destroy earlier disbelievers?

• Woe on that Day to the deniers!

In Surah Almursalat, Allah......

• Talks about the day of judgement and what will happen on that day as well as the punishment of the sinners

• • Warns the disbelievers and bring glad tidings to the believers

• • Talks about the past communities that denied the day of judgement and how they were punished

• • Talks about Allah’s creations

Surat Almursalat starts with Allah’s oath by

Have we not made the earth a "Kifat" for the living and the dead?

أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا

What does "Kifat" refer to here?

• Permanent residence

• 1. Secure shelter for living/staying temporarily

"And We have placed upon it fixed towers"
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَـٰمِخَـٰتٍۢ وَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُم مَّآءًۭ فُرَاتًۭا

Fixed towers refers to.....

• Trees

• electric poles

• Mountains

“Proceed into that, which you used to deny!"
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

Whom is this ayah referred to and where will they proceed?

• Believers- heaven

• Disbelievers- hellfire

How does Allah describe the sparks of hellfire in this surah?

• 1. Blue flames

• 1. Small like pebbles

• 1. Huge like palaces

"On that Day they will not be in a position to speak,"
هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ

This ayah indicates that...

• the believers will not be given a chance to speak, instead, they will be sent to Jannah directly.

• on the Day of Judgement the deniers will be called upon to speak but will not be able to say anything.

So if you have a plan ˹to save yourselves˺, then use it

فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌۭ فَكِيدُونِ

Here Allah challenges the people of Jahnam to use whatever plot they can in order rescue themselves from His punishment.
