For example, when studying a global issue such as COVID-19, it allows us to identify which regions requires additional support and the actions required to help tackle the issue. This allows us to tailor different solutions to different regions within the country as each region may experience different challenges. This allows us to channel the necessary resources to places where there are more COVID-19 cases which allows a country to contain the spread.
