Fungi used to be considered as part of the plant kingdom, but they are though to be quite different.

The main of the fungus is a mass of tiny thread called mycelium. Fungi live on the other organic matter in the soil. Fungi are the most important agent in the breakdown of dead plant and animal material, recyvling it so that the plant can use the nutrients. Fungi live in damp areas on in water because they have no method of preventing their fragile threads dyinf out.They cannot survive dry atmospheres. There are around 50.000 species of fungi and they include yeast, rust, smuts, mildews, mould, and mushrooms.

Long, long ago, when the gods and goddesses used to mingle in affairs of mortals, there was a small kingdom on the slope of Mount Wayang in West Java. The King named sang Prabu, was a wise man. He had an only daughter, called Princess Teja Nirmala, who was famous for her beauty but she was no married. One day Sang Prabu made up his mind to settle the matter by a show of strength.

After that, Prince of Blambangan, named Raden Begawan had won the competition.
