• Network spanning small geographical areas
• Smallest unit of digital information, representing either a 0 or a 1 in binary.

Application

• Software designed to perform specific tasks for users.
• Hardware designed to perform specific tasks for users.
• Unit of digital information consisting of 8 bits.
