My most embarrassing moment was probably when I lived in Germany. One day I decided to go shopping and I _______into town. I had a car. And I was very, very pleased because I _______ a parking space immedately which was rather unusual. Miranda was waiting for her exam results and she was scared! She heard the letter box rattle and she ran downstairs. She opened the envelope and took the letter out. She saw her Mum standing behind her and so she read her results out loud. 5 As, 2 Bs and 3 Cs. ‘Yes!’ she shouted. She turned round and kissed her mother and her mother started crying. She cried with joy. Later that day, Peter, a boy she really liked, phoned her. He asked her about her exam grades and he was really pleased for her. ‘Would you like to come to the cinema with me later?’ he asked. ‘Then maybe we could have a pizza?’
