Large circus animals are a danger to the public and to entertainers. In some circuses, elephants have gone on rampages and attacked or even killed others. According to a government House Committee website, “In Palm Bay, Florida, in 1992, an elephant named Janet went on a rampage while carrying children on her back” (“Captive”). Furthermore, in 2003, there was a well-publicized tiger attack on Ray Horn, a trainer for Siegfried and Roy. In both these examples, the animals acted in ways that put trainers and children in danger.

MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTION

Tyson Mcgaw from The Shadow Club is a mysterious person. In the book The Shadow Club by Neal Shusterman we kinda view Tyson as the Antagonist because we know nothing about him as of right now. First, in the very beginning of the chapter called The Fire and Agony, Jared says "Watching Tyson Mcgaw get into fights was a school tradition." This explains how nobody really knows anything about Tyson besides the fact that he gets into fights a lot. Also if people knew more about Tyson they wouldn't watch him fight because they would know him better and like him. Secondly, in the beginning of the chapter The Fire and Agony, it says "You know what he did? he screamed at Greene. What did Tyson do? He called me a slimeball!" This again proves the fact that if people around the school knew Tyson better they wouldn't call him all these types of names. Tyson probably acts out because no one understands him. All of my evidence proves that Tyson Mcgaw is a very mysterious and misunderstood person.
