Turn and Talk with your partner: Where is the farthest place you've been away from home? What state was it, and why did you go? Type out your answer and submit a picture of that state into your response.

Discuss with your partner and find similarities and differences between the two places you wrote about in the first question (food, weather, an activity that you did).

Now, find someone new to talk about this next question: Have you ever been to the capital city of Iowa? If so, what did you do/learn there? Write about it!
