Meditation verses for Book of Luke 7&8.
Chapter 7: Contains significant events. It starts with the Healing of the Centurion's Servant and how the strong faith The Centurion had, Our Lord Jesus himself was surprised by this faith. We see also when Our Lord Jesus Raises the Widow’s Son. Also, we see when St. John the Baptist sends disciples to The Lord to ask if He is the Messiah and How Our Lord Jesus responds. As we see, this chapter also highlights when the sinful woman anoints Our Lord Jesus' feet with her tears and perfume. This chapter shows Our Lord Jesus’s love, compassion and also His authority over sickness, death, and sin.
Chapter 8: Starts with the Parable of the Sower and how these seeds are the Words of God and that we must have a good foundation for which the word can grow and give fruit in our lives. We also see Our Lord Jesus’s authority over nature by calming the storm and when Our Lord Jesus heals a man possessed by many demons, showing His power over the devil. Also, The Healing of the Bleeding Woman. All of these events remind us that Lord Jesus Christ is God and He has authority over nature, demon and also death.
