Meditation verses for Book of Luke 9&10.
Chapter 9: Starts when Our Lord Jesus called the twelve disciples and gave them power and authority over demons and diseases and What Our Lord Jesus directed them to do to take nothing for their journey—no staff, bag, bread, money, or extra clothing. We also see When Our Lord Jesus fed a large crowd with just a few loaves of bread and fish. We see St. Peter's Confession of Christ when he said about Our Lord Jesus “ The Christ of God”.The chapter also includes miracles performed by Our Lord Jesus, the story of His transfiguration. We also see the meaning of humility, and self-denial. And what it means to be a follower of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Chapter 10: Starts when Our Lord Jesus appointed the seventy others, sending them out two by two into every city and place, giving them authority and instructions for their mission and how they returned with joy, reporting success. This chapter also talks about the parable of the Good Samaritan, highlighting what it truly means to "love your neighbor as yourself. We also see when Our Lord Jesus Visited the house of Martha and Mary and the contrast between Martha and Mary and how we should not being distracted and what we should focus on, Mary was sitting at Our Lord Jesus’ feet to learn, while Martha was busy with preparations.
