Miss K's classroom Procedures

If I have a question, I will

• Raise my hand

• Flip my help card

• stand up and come find Miss K

• Start yelling for Miss K

If my pencil breaks I will

• get up and sharpen my pencil

• Raise my pencil and wait for Miss K to tell me to get a new one

• Raise my hand

• get up and get a new pencil

If there are no sharp pencils in the "sharp pencils" cup I will

• start sharpening my pencil

• go back to my seat

• ask a friend for a pencil

• Hold up the cup for Miss K to see and wait for her to tell me what to do next

What does YOYO mean?

• it a toy that is a disk on a string

• it means "you're on your own"

When it's time to go home what do you do first?

• Go get my mail from the mail box and put it in my folder

• Stack my chair and wait quietly at my desk

• Wait for Miss K to call my group to go get my backpack from the closet

What do I do when I turn in my paper

• Get up and put it in the tray

• pass the paper to the front or back of my row

What do I do if I finish working on an assignment early?

• get out the indoor recess toys

• get on lexia

• check if I have missing work

• read

What do i fo if my chromebook dies?

• Get up and charge it

• raise your hand and tell Miss K

• close my chromebook and put my head down

In the morning, after I put my stuff away and bring what I need to my desk, what do i do next?

• get my popsicle stick and make my lunch choice

• start working on morning work

• make sure my pencils are sharp

• Turn in my homework

When the bell rings in the morning I will

• Stop what I am doing and listen to the announcements

• Ignore it and continue working on morning work
